Today, in usually sunny Brisbane, it is raining. It is chilly along with the wet, so what better thing to do than bake, besides sleep or snuggle under a blanket and read.
I'd decided to make some scones, a first ever thought for me, as I had always believed them to be way to much work! But I found, in the baking isle of my local Woolworths, a packet scone mix. Add only milk, stir till just combined, turn out and knead, roll and cut, place on tray and bake!
12 minutes later we had hot, fresh and super fluffy scones.
(Note: these are the second "dozen", yep thats right I made 2 whole dozen + extras, aka two boxes full)

I love that Piper loves tea parties as much as me!
(mmm, rose and vanilla tea for me, and a green "rosey" tea for PJ)
