Day 007- A day late, but good excuse!

So I know its a day late, but I have a really good excuse...

My darling boy, who, after eating all his dinner, was snacking on grapes just before bed (note to self/hubby: NO FOOD JUST BEFORE BED!). He went off to bed with his usual bottle of milk, and I went off to the shops to organise my Love Dare for the day.
On arriving home, I heard that my boy was crying, well more like wailing. After putting all the shopping away I went in to investigate, and was overcome with the urge for my dinner to join my sons all over his cot, and floor and most significantly his 4 favourite soft toys!
B rode in on his "white king" horse and defeated the yucky task of destroying our evil foe, the Vomit Stench! He removed all sheets and things while I took our boy to the shower. When I came out of the bathroom B told me that 2 of the toys were unwashable (one has a push button laugh box in his foot, and the other has pot pourri in it), and the other two were thankfully salvagable as they were THE ones he loved the most.
So after washing off the bed, and remaking it, we put our boy back to bed, and went off to our junk food fest in our room to talk about some things!
S then woke up again, and fearing the worst, we got him up! But he was fine, and now thought it was day time! After allowing him to play a little, he went back down. At this stage I was not leaving the bedroom to do anything but go to the loo!

SO, after that night, B got up along with our girl, who quickly noticed something out on our front lawn and exclaimed "Daddy, WHAT"S THAT ON OUR FRONT GRASS?". On closer inspection Barry found Soren's fav soft toy out there, it had been rolled in the dirt and who knows what else was on it. So that had to be thrown out. B decided that a full walk around the property was on the cards, and, being no tracker, couldnt find the source of its travel, or its partner, the other toy he put in our laundry with it to wash.

So long story short, I hadnt rid my house of anything yesterday, but had them thrown out, and walk out!

As for being grateful, well is it that hard to tell?! I am grateful for Mr Z, my man, who rescued his beauty's nose and hands from the evil Vomit Stench, and who helps even more about the house. I am also grateful for my kids, who, when I am down and out with head aches, and bad moods, can always turn my frown upside down. I love my wee family! (kiwi speak for little)
